Images I didn't use

This image (above) was relating to the quote "We would go to my grandma's bungalow a lot." I like the image, but I felt that the quote didn't have much excitement, therefore I wasn't really motivated into an exciting piece. The piece does have an atmosphere though (others have also said this) it does have a certain psycho-geographical feel to it as well.

I asked a girl named Katie in the Postal Order pub "What do you remember from your childhood?" Her answer was "We would play a game where one of us was a dinosaur and the rest of us would run away. We would make up rules so this one boy would always be 'it'." - I didn't use this piece as I don't feel that there's enough energy within it. I feel that the image wouldn't be that exciting for the viewer.

Final Major Project

Here are some images my development work during my F.M.P.

Part of my project has been developing different fonts, but as the project has turned into a quick sketchy styled project the fonts have gradually disappeared to suit the way in which the people were drawn and to keep a sort of naive feel to the images produced as the project is based on childhood nostalgia. Part of the project is to also draw people very quickly as I've been going around asking strangers what they remember from their childhood, and which memories really stick out from the others, so in order to not keep them bored and uncomfortable I've been trying to draw faster and faster.

This is it, I'm afraid.

Here's an image I did in late 2008, I think I'm gonna start getting back into this way of working but I'll mix it with bright colours. I like the idea of creating 'made to fit' collage out of my own images and doodles within the image.

Dogs, Dinos, Diamonds, Dollars.

Hi, this is my first EVER post on here. I'm not really sure what to put really as I'm not 'into the swing of things' with this yet.

Here's a photo of my desk at college from a year ago, and one of it now. Pointless I know but I see it as a 'core' and a starting point of this blog.
